The convenient size makes it easy to store, transport, and fly at a variety of large parks and sports fields to RC flying fields – yet it's still large enough to be easy to see and to fly well in the wind – especially the BNF Basic version that's equipped with enhanced AS3X+ technology that smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence better than ever before. That version is also equipped with optional-use SAFE Select technology that makes it even easier to fly, and both versions include Spektrum digital, metal-geared servos, a 45A Smart Lite ESC, plus a 3S and 4S compatible motor!

This PNP version requires more experience and skills to assemble and fly than the BNF Basic version because you will need to install a receiver that does not already include properly tuned AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. You should have the experience and skills necessary to assemble and successfully fly models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Sportix 1.1m PNP version.

Plus, optional-use motor/thrust reversing can help shorten rollout after landing and offers other special ground handling capabilities (5–6+ channel transmitter required for reversing).
