Workhorse
As a part of its motorization from the years leading up to WWII, the German military took on the SS-100 - a heavy tractor based upon a commercially-developed agricultural vehicle. It was a workhose with a towing capacity of 20 tons, thanks to its highly reliable 6-cylinder water-cooled engine. Deployed by the German Army, Luftwaffe and Navy, the SS-100 towed all manner of subjects: field guns, aircraft, fuel and water tanks, V2 rockets, and even disabled vehicles, its versatility and reliability standing it in good stead.

- This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 114mm, width: 53mm.
- The bulky fom of the SS-100 is depicted with aplomb.
- Slide molded cab parts offer a superior fit.
